Teacher's Training Institute - Turalei

The newly constructed Teacher's Training Institute in Turalei will prepare local teachers to serve the surrounding Dinka population, from Twic State up to Abyei Region in South Sudan.  

 

Prior to the construction of the Institute, teachers were flown in from Kenya and Uganda and provided room and board using private donations.  The Institute will now provide academic, spiritual and moral training to local teachers, eliminating the need for expensive transport and housing.

Construction of the Teacher's Training Institute was made possible by the generous funding of MISEREOR, based in Aachen, Germany.
